Hi.... I have a 2000 ford focus. Its a 5 speed with 87000 miles. Anyway... when I'm speeding up, the whole car bumps and shakes and hesitates. But only when I get above 30 mph and when I step on the gas. Its got new plugs and wires! Help me!

If the check engine light is on thats the 1st place to start..Ignition coil is a good possibility but the engine light should come on..other than that clogged fuel filter is a good possibility as well

Change your fuel filter and check your ignition coils.

Chirping when @3500 to 4000 rpms, 2000 taurus

3500 rpms is about 80 mph. Is this noise in 1st, 2nd & 3rd gear? Is check engine light on?
Chirping could be accessory belt noise. Spray them one at a time with belt dresing to see if it goes away and which belt is doing it.

My 2000 1.6 ford focus hesitates when driving from a standing start

Is this when the engine's cold? check the auto choke

when it's warm -air ingress to inlet manifold - listen for air noise - you will also notice that it will hesitate when you accelerate
also check if servo vacuum is affecting the engine speed - when idling pump brakes if it is this then speed increases
Air intake sensor unit Now you need to get a garage to plug into the ECU [car computer]

2000 Focus has engine "shake" and won't idle

Always start with check engine issues first and repair them, then move on to no code symptoms. Go to shop with a good scan tool ,not a $200.00 auto part store frebee and no code book

Sometimes the bushings will squeak when put under load like a speed bump that is normal. But if you hear the same squeak while driving in other conditions you might want to check your outer tie end rod.
