Hi the easiest way to find them is follow the exhaust manifold from the engine, you should see what looks like a big extruding bolt with 2 wires on it, that is one of them, if you have the model with 2 of them, just look under the vehicle, look on the exhaust where the catolitic converter is, just past that you will see another of the same..these are your H02s sensors or heated oxygen sensors...hope that helps please vote thanks

Does the 1987 Ford Ranger 2.9 V6 4WD have a crank shaft position (CKP) sensor?

The ignition system engine controller uses a distributor sensor with a sector wheel to provide the ignition timing. This distributor pick up coil provides the (CKP) sensor function.

1994 Ford Ranger Super Cab MAF problems

Looks like you need to replace the coolant temperature sensor for the computer. This will make the engine run rich all the time. You can simply check it with a scan tool with live data capability. With the engine warm read the engine coolant temperature. My guess is it will read very cold even with the engine warm. If so replace it and the truck will be running like new

According to my book, it looks like a bad O2 sensor, the sensor behind the catalytic converter on the passenger side exhaust.

Bank 1, Sensor 2.

You can pick one up at the parts store for around $75.

Will '89 Ranger leaf springs fit a '99 Ford Ranger 4x4?

Measure the distance from bolt to bolt, and to the center. If they match then, they match, if not you will have to check the numbers with fords tolerances to avoid an axle wrap. But it should fit, maybe just a little stiffer of a suspension from the 4x4.
