Question about 1981 Ford F 100
There is an oil cap located on the valve cover of which there are two on the top of the engine with the carb between them. Usually the passenger side valve cover has the cap.

CHECK POWER STEERING PRESSURE HOSE.IF IT LEAKS.IT WILL SPRAY FLUID ALL OVER THE PLACE.CAUSE SMOKING.IF POWER STEERING HOSE CHECK OUT GOOD.YOU GOT A SERIOUS VALVE COVER LEAK.

Not good. Someone didn't put it together right or something came apart. It's burning oil. Check the inside of your tail pipe. If it's wet and oilly then you are burning oil. Oil foaming is from compressed air getting to it. You will have to recheck everything done when head gasket set was replaced.
