SOURCE: where is the cigarette lighter fuse box located on

The fuse for the cigarette lighter/auxillary power is located in the under hood fuse/relay block. It is a 20 amp ATM (mini) fuse. It is fuse #34 and is yellow. The location will be shown on the underside of the fuse box cover. Look along the drivers and passenger side inner fender areas for the fuse box. Charlie

SOURCE: The cigarette lighter does not work on my 1997

it wil be located in the fuse box, the fuses should be listed on the box or inside the box and again in your owners manual. If you can not locate this way you will need to pull each fuse till you find the burnt fuse replacing with the same amperage fuse. Cigarette lighters can and do go bad, if you find no burnt fuses the lighter can be bad. This can be checked with any 12 volt plug accessory. Good luck.

What size fuse would you need for a cigarette lighter in a Dodge 2006 custom

Hi

Most times the cigarette fuse is 30A. There is usually a spare located in your fuse box below dashboard.

Why won't my cigarette lighter work?

if the fuses re good then you will need to remove the lighter and check for power behind it. some lighters have a fuse link built in and if thats blown will need to replace the whole lighter assembly.

Son plugged ac/dc adapter into accessory plug and it sparked and afterwards cigarette lighter and accessory plug does not work anymore. Thinking maybe fuse but don't have manual to know where fuses are....

I always use a test light and check them all. Usly faster then looking up which fuse it is. Here is a diagram of fuse block anyhow. CIG stands for cigarette lighter.08b0868.png

2000 Cavalier DLC wiring.

Check the CIG fuse it goes directly to pin 16. It also powers the cigarette lighter. That fuse should be in the I/P fuse box.
