I've decided not to -- I just keep a straw handy and insert it into the steering column when I want to remove the key. Cheaper.

Go to your local wreaker. Take a couple of pictures and remove what you need. This will be the cheapest and easiest fix.

Ignition wont turn either way, i have tried to turn stering wheel hard both ways to turn key, but it dosent work. I want to know to get the key switch out of the colum.

Are we dealing with a ford focus? If so, pretty common problem. Ign. Cyl will most likely have to be drilled and replaced.(they do not come preassembled, the new cyl will have to be built) Have you tried another key? Maybe some dry graphite lubricant?
