I recently started having a problem with my 88 4Runner's Automatic transmission reverse. When the engine is cold, it takes a few seconds of revving the engine before the gear pops into reverse. I can start it cold and shift into drive, and everything is fine. I took it to the dealer, they told me I needed an overhaul. Anyone else have an opinion or similar trouble? My truck has about 140k miles on it, btw. Thanks
