SOURCE: 2005 chevy silverado won;t start.

i had the same problem, and it turned out the coil pack was moulding inside wich stopped the spark all together, i ended up changing my coil pack and putting on new wires because the ends connected to the coil were very corroded and that cures the not running part just fine

Oil drain plug size on a 2002 chevy trailblazer

If your going to work on your own vehicles, you need a basic set of tools, wrenches and sockets, standard and metric sizes. Generally it's cheaper to buy a set.

I'm thinking 15mm,but, I could be wrong.

Where is the oil pan drain bolt on a 2003 6 cylinder Chevy Silverado, and what size is the bolt? Thank you.

The drain plug is on the bottom rear of the oil pan and the bolt size is tricky, some model 1500 sieres and the2500 trucks sometimes use diffrent sizes but i will tell you its going to be a 13mm or a 15 mm wrench to remove. so one of the two will do it, make sure to replace the oil filter also thats locted on the bottom leftside, you will see it when you drain the oil. hope this is helpful.

Do I need a mechnic for changing oil in my chevi

No. The oil is very easy to change. All you need is a filter wrench and a 15 mm. socket, and a drain pan. Get under the truck and the oil filter is right there and the drain plug is in the oil pan. Drain the oil first, then remove the oil filter with the filter wrench. Take your finger and dip it in the oil and put a film of oil on the new oil filter gasket. Then install the new oil filter. Once you install the new oil filter, put the drain plug back in. Then put 5 quarts of new oil in the oil fill.

Where is the oil pressure sender on a 2005 chevy 1500 silverado

It's on the back of the engine block behind the intake manifold.

Caution if replacing it... you will need a sensor socket or you will break the new one putting it in.
