Hi, some cars have the bonnet release under the drivers steering wheel, right hand footwell, left hand foolwell some have an ignition key in the front of the grill under a flap. gerry

Can you see the end of the cable through the front grille? On some vehicles you can use a extra long flat screwdriver to push the release through the front grille.
Some S3 and A3 models have a small access hole between the bonnet and grille. A thin wire hook and a lot of poking around can release the bonnet.
if this doesn't work you might have to destroy the front grille to get access.
A Chiltons/Haynes repair manual for your make/model/year will have this information as well as a schematic. If you have the owner manual, it might have the information as well.
The fuel lift pump relay is placed in the fuse box / relay plate fascia 2 for 2007 Audi A3 2.0 TDI. The fuse box / relay plate fascia 2 is placed above pedals behind a plastic cover. See pictures below:

The hood release latch is located on the inside of your vehicle under the steering wheel. Depending on the make of your car, the lever would either be on the left hand side i.e. on the side the door is or on the right, which is near to the center.
