Question about Chevrolet Cobalt
Sounds like the key is still in the on position. put in park and jiggle the steering wheel and try to turn the key back to the off position. that will allow you to remove the key. of course that doesn't address the no start issue. check the normal things, battery, cable end connections for tightness and freedom from corrosion, etc. no lights sounds like either a faulty battery connection or a drained battery.
