No, it is more likely a relay that is not working.

Keep in mind that you have several point location for Fuse and Relays:
* Instrument Panel Fuse Block... The fuse block access door is on the driver’s side edge of the instrument panel. Pull off the cover to access the fuse block.
* Central Instrument Panel Fuse... The center instrument panel utility block is located underneath the instrument panel, to the left of the steering column.
* Underhood Fuse Block... in the engine compartment on the driver’s side of the vehicle near the battery. Lift the cover for access to the fusehelay block.

In all this three locations you have devices that refere work with the Power Lock and Power Windows, I suggets check one for one and try this test:

Power Locks - Diagnosis & Testing

  1. Check the fuses for the door lock circuit. Verify there is 12 volts at the fuse terminal. If voltage is not present, check the wiring.
  2. Remove the door trim panel of the affected door.
  3. Unplug the connector to the door lock actuator. Connect a test lamp across the terminals of the harness.
  4. Verify that the light illuminates briefly in both the lock and unlock positions of the switch.
    1. If it does not, there may be an open/high resistance or a short to ground in the wiring. If the wiring is OK, the IP fuse block is faulty.
    2. If it does illuminate and the lock actuator still does not work, the actuator is faulty.

Power Windows - Diagnosis & Testing

no power to right door - 7798afe.jpg

Fig. Power window motor connector identification
  1. Check the fuses for the window circuit. Verify there is 12 volts at the fuse terminal. If voltage is not present, check the wiring.
  2. Unplug the motor connector.
  3. Install a 25 amp fused jumper wire between terminal A and 12 volts.
  4. Momentarily install a jumper wire between terminal B and ground. The motor should operate; if not replace it.
  5. Switch the jumper wires around and test again. The motor should operate; if not replace it.
  6. If the motor still does not operate correctly when using a switch, then check the wiring for opens or shorts to ground.
  7. If the wiring is ok but the motor still does not operate, the switch is faulty.

Hope helps.

Hi. More likely the right door switch is bad. this switch is actually a control module. this module controls all the right door functions and including the keyless entry system. the bad news is, even know the switch is easy to replace, it has to be programmed with software for it to function properly. here is how the right door module {switch} works.
The PDM communicates with the body control module (BCM) through the keyless entry serial data circuit. When you press a button on a transmitter, the transmitter sends a signal to the PDM. The PDM sends a request to the BCM and the BCM performs the appropriate function.

Door Lock and Side Window Switch Replacement - Passenger Side

If equipped with keyless entry or camper mirrors, program the door module.

Mitsubishi diamante electronic door switch problem

the following checks need to be made.
All listed components are all share a fuse , and all share the same ground, G200.
Check the fuse/circuit breaker for power on both sides, if OK, follow the harness to connector C214 a 12 pin connector to the right of the glove box opening to see if there is a problem there.
Ground 200 is located on the toe plate at the front edge of the passenger's front door. Check for bad connection there.
If everything is good up to this point you will check The Black/White wire that runs through the main harness under the dash, and splits into several Black/White wires at splice S245, in the main wire harness under the driver side of the dash.

ok if the wire is not cut open the small triangle panel on side of dash accessible only with door open. there are you will see the harness plugs for the door. check if they are still locked in and or if they have power to them. (note the right door is controlled by the left door,,, check the harness on the driver side and the switch panel on driver side door for a loose or unplugged harness

Lost power in driverside door of 2002 chevy trailblazer. Is there a certain fuse I should check?

If all that happened at once, highly suspect a broken wire harness that feeds your door panel.
I think there are separate circuits for the locks and the windows and mirror.
At the factory, I believe the doors are installed on the vehicle with the wire harnesses already in them, means they plug the door harness into a receiving socket in an under-dash harness.
I'd wonder if the vehicle had been in an accident on that side.
Be blessed.

Intermittent problems with the power windows and door lock on the right side of my car.If the windows are up they will not wind down, and if they are in the down position they will not wind up. some times...

I'd first check wire harness at door hinge area. Try window with door open then in different positions. Wires in that area break within enclosure. grasp harness and move it around, basically try to make widow work. starting car increases voltage to 14 volts. car not running battery should be at just over 12. if applicable You mite have fuse for that door, it's not "blown" but mite be dirty and not making good contact. window and lock use same sources for power and grounds. Then again issue mite be in driver side door but same wire issue . Good luck,

Drivers door control panel (power window heated seat locks ect ) what to do none of it is working 2006 chevy trail blazer

Check fuse #10 in the rear fuse panel. If fuse OK, try switching passenger side control module into driver's side. Also check for broken wires in wiring harness that goes between body and driver's door.

Power windows won t work

There are broken wires in the wiring harness between the frame and your driver's side door. These wires control all the windows and door locks in a 95 Jeep. Same thing happened to me. You will have to cut the rubber boot to get it off and check which wires are broken and repair them.

Failed power window

I'd bet on a broken wire in the harness going to the drivers door. I suggest the drivers door because it is used the most often. You can pull the master switch and check the wires for continuity to the harness just under the dash at the fuse box, after removing the lower dash trim panel. Sometimes you can gently pull on the wires of the door harness from under the dash and one will pull right out. Thats how I found mine.
