It is possible that the battery for your remote is dying, replace it and if needed, do a reset of the alarm/immobiliser.

Alarm light on #6 and 0 degrees blink alarm gose off every 24 hrs

reset the alarm follow the instruction and fix it.

  • 1
Close all of your car doors.

  • 2
Insert one key in the door lock and cycle it to the "Lock" position, and then back to the "Unlock" position two times. Leave the key in the lock cylinder.

  • 3
Enter your car and insert your key into the ignition cylinder.

  • 4
Cycle the key in the ignition from the "Off" position to the "On" position twice in a row. The alarm will emit a chirping sound after turning the ignition to the "On" position the second time. This will reset the alarm, making it ready for reprogramming (if necessary).

My hi beam head light gose on and off by it self.. every ones a wile the hi beam light will start coming on and off like i was flicking it my self

it is most likey the switch itself.that joint gets loose from using the turning sigals.so some people put a matchbook cover behind the switch.whenever i ask why they do that. they always tell me to fix the problem you are having.they just stuff it in there.I personally think the switch should just be replaced.about 200.00 at your local shop.

Possibly battery-related problem with '02 Mazda Protege

It sounds like the car's security system is going off. Is there a key fob to lock/unlock doors and turn on alarm? If there is, connect battery, and immediately press alarm/unlock button to turn alarm off.
I have a truck with an aftermarket alarm system installed by the previous owner, my battery died, and when I hooked up a new one the alarm went off, and it took a while before I hit the key fob button, but it stopped it. Let me know if this works for u.

My car alarm is blinking but the remote doesn't work. I already replaced the battery to the remote so I know that's not the problem. If I open the car the alarm goes off and doesn't allow me to start the...

You need to first look under the drivers side dash area near the hood release/fuse panel area and see if there is a valet switch. The switch will look like a little toggle or a push switch. After you locate it, turn the ignition switch to the on position(dont start it) and flick the valet to the opposite position it is in now. If done correctly in most cases the red system light will stay a constant instead of off or blinking indicating you are in valet mode. Next try to start the engine. If this doesnt work you need to remove the alarm system and repair the ignition switch wiring or replace the electrical portion of the ignition switch. The aftermarket alarm cuts into the ignition switch wires and bypasses the start circuit through the alarm module. When disarmed the alarm completes the circuit and allows the car to start. Good luck hope this helps and please rate this.
