Where are the freeze plugs on a 92 dodge dakota

there's three down each side of the block on each side of it and one on each side front of the block, and two in the back of the engine which you do have to drop the transmission to get to them, make sure you know which one its leaking from before you drop the transmission out of it,very often its back one on the right hand side of the engine that leaks on those,if its the ones in the rear of the engine it will be leaking from in between the engine and transmission, but be sure about it,good luck

Cost of replacing automatic rear transmission seal 1991 dodge dakota

If it is a 2 wheel drive, should be pretty cheap. The drive shaft comes out, the seal comes out, and the install is reverse.
You can check the cost of the part online for your area and whatever the labor rate is for your area, I would say 1 - 2 hrs.

I have a leaking transmission around the drive shaft i change the seal 3 times and now it is leaking worst than before could you advice

It sounds as if you might have an issue with the input shaft (side that goes into the transmission). Typically the seals are a little larger that the shaft to make a seal. Is it leaking from the side that is against the transmission housing or the shaft?

Shaking issue when accelerating- 2004 dodge dakota have replaced transmission mount, flushed transmission, and replaced sway bar

Check your universal joints, as well as your wheel bearings and play in your front wheels. If your pitman arm, idler arm, or tie rods are worn the initial acceleration will cause a shaking feeling because the tires are wobbling.

The Universal joints are a big problem as well, and you should check them before its too late. If one breaks you can damage your drive shaft when it hits the road.....Let me know what you find.

Where is the crank shaft sensor locate on a 1998 dodge dakota 2.5

Should be bolted right before the transmission (it has a wire connected to the harness) on the upper side of the engine (near the interior). See Chilton manual 20404.

I've got a 2000 dodge caravan with a 3.0L there are 2 sensors on the front side of the transmission at least i think they are sensors but anyways I've got fluid leaking around them both what are those...

In front of the transmission the vehicle have:
2 sensors. 1- Input shaft speed sensor, 1- Output shaft speed sensor.
and in the front center You will see the Selenoid Pack.
If any of the sensor is leaking I recomend to replace with a new one.
They are not espensive. Around $ 25 each one.
The selenoid pack can leak too.
If is the case You can replace too. Is about $125.
All of this parts are Easy to replace.
I hope this help on your question.
Thank you for use fixya.
