1994 Chevrolet G20 High Top Conversion Van V8

The tranny pan gasket/filter is under 10 dollars and you can have that done on the street, do that mean while if you are driving the van until you can get the seal fixed, which with the labor is going to be a few hundred dollars. Tranny work alone is around 400 dollars, because they have to take it out and take it apart to see whats wrong with it, price your own seal before you take it to a repair specialist and ask a quote on labor with and without the parts.

Since the trans has to be removed to do the front seal, and has to be
drained to do it anyway and most shops that drop the trans will replace
the rear seal and the pan gasket and filter as a precaution against
leaks, I doubt you will see individual prices. If you DIY those parts
are not that hard to replace anyway.
