Hi, The fuel rail pressure regulator is mounted on the left hand side of the engine, just above the left valve cover , next to the intake manifold. It looks like a small round metal can, with a vacuum hose going to it

How to test to make sure fuel pump is getting power

You could check for fuel pressure at the injection rail assembly, especially if there is a Schrader valve on the rail. The Schrader valve looks like an air valve and operates the same way. Push in on the valve stem to see if fuel comes out under pressure. Have rags around the valve to catch the gas. Best is to attach a pressure gauge to the valve, and then you can read the pressure. Possibly Auto Zone or Advance will the gauge as a loaner. This will comfirm the fuel pump is working and providing the correct pressure.

Fuel pump pressure

there is a valve on the fuel rail it look a lot like a tire valve it will have a black cap on it and you need a fuel pressure tester for the job. you can however turn the key to the on position, the fuel pump should come on for two seconds, you can then depress the schrader valve and fuel should shoot out most of the time if you have good pressure it will hit the hood, so keep back.

I have a 2002 isuzu rodeo 3.1 liter v6 and I try to start it and it tries to start but turns off. I also don't hear the fuel pump turn on every time I turn my key. Could it be just the fuel filter or is it...

It could be either one, if the fuel pressure is too low.
Try this, as a rough test of fuel pressure. On the engine on the fuel rail is a test port to connect a fuel pressure gauge. It looks like a tire valve, may have a cap on it that unscrews. Follow your fuel lines to the top of the engine-they will connect to the fuel rail -where the injectors are. If you find the test port, use a small screwdriver or little punch type of thing: be careful of gas spraying out, don't hold your head over the test port: you want to press in the center little valve and see if gas spurts up out of the valve, with the ignition key in on, not start. If gas spurts up, you know the pump is working well enough to get gas up to the engine. The fuel pressure on multi port injection is quite high, about 50 psi. You would need to check what Isuzu calls for. It really would be best to rent a fuel pressure tester, if possible, and connect it at that test port, turn the key to on, and see what pressure you have. If the pressure is as called for, then you know the pump and filter is okay, and can look elsewhere for the problem.
"...tries to start, but turns off..." you mean it does fire and try to run for a second? That does sound like it may be a fuel problem.

I need to know which fuse controls the fuel pressure relief valve.

fuel pressure relief valve is not controlled by a fuse its controlled by spring pressure against a diaphram that is set to a specific pressure to control fuel pressure.

Fuel pressure sensor location

Hi,
I think your after the fuel pressure check valve or regulator. This model doesn't actually have a fuel pressure sensor.
The regulator is on the centre of the manifold at the end of the fuel rail. The check valve is right next to the PVC valve which is also at the centre of the inlet manifold.
Let me know if you need more information.
Thanks
Jason

I have a 04 silverado HD and while driving i loose throttle

replace your fuel filter best way to diagnose this one to start, find a way to monitor your fuel pressure if the filter had no effect, do you have any codes *** up ? and if so what are they, let me know, if not you might have a defective fuel pump, the pressure reading will tell, over 40 psi is good.
