Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: 2004 Nissan Murano, back door can't open

I had a similar problem with a sienna and sometimes the cable ( inside the door) between the handle and the latch gets stuck in the sleeve. Kind of like the brake cable on a bike.
take the panel off by removing all the screws you can see on the panel and pull the panel off. There will be plastic pins holding it. Some of them may pop off and some will break off.
Drip oil down the sleeve so the cable slides freely. I used bike chain oil. Do not use WD40. This is **** and will not work for very long. Try the handles a few times before you put the panel back.

SOURCE: how to reset service engine light on 2006 nissan murano

generally you just unhook the battery for about 15 minutes and hook it back up... if you have an anti-theft radio... make sure you know the code and how to enter it.

SOURCE: 2004 nissan murano low 3 quarts oil. no sign of a

Hard city driving during the hot summer can and will cause a bit of oil usage. 1 qt in 500 miles is not excessive. If you recently changed oil and are using a different brand this also can cause a bit of oil usage, due to the engine getting used to it. Add to full and keep a good ck on it, it should level out. if not check your air filter, pvc valve, and any vaccume hoese.

How to reset engine service soon on nissan murano 2004

Take it to your local auto parts store and have them hook up the code scanner and some of them will tell you they're not allowed to do the reset but I just tell em it's cool...just reset it. Some won't do it at all so just go to a different store, someone is bound to do it.
Or you can buy a OBD scanner of your own and reset it yourself.

Battery and brake lights are on

Could be a problem with the alternator or the hydraulic brake system.
You would need to check the brake fluid and see if the battery is being charged by the alternator.

Reset SES light on Murano.....

I had a similar problem. I took it to a near by auto zone and asked them if they could hook up their scanner to the computer and clear the ses light. The light was reset and that fixed the problem. You might want to try this since they do it for free. Hope this helps.

Have an 05 murano and the supplemental restraint system light has come on and stays on while in the vehicle. how can i reset or fix this problem?

i dont think you can reset it i think it is your air bag module and they run somewhere in the $600 range.I ran into this problem on another murano, but the customer did not want to fix it. Do you still have warranty on this vehicle.
