My 2005 buick rendezvous has been attempted to be stolen cant start it with key

if they tried to pull the wheel lock located in the steering colum. they may have damaged the key sensor that read you security codes off the key. which means you`ll need to replace the key sensor in the colum. Unless they pulled a wire off under the steering colum. look down the steering colum and up underneath and see if there are any plugs out. PS some cars are designed of extra accessories which case you may find a few plugs away from the colum that aren`t connected to any thing these won`t be the issue but.

Need to remove steering column on a 1992 lincoln town car

Remove the steering wheel, turn signal reset (plastic), remove clip and spring. Remove trim to expose the entire colum. Disconnect all connectors. There are four main bolts holding the colum up. Remove the bolts and lower the colum. At the end of the steering shaft there is a bolt going through the colum. Remove the bolt. The colum can then be removed.

2004 Silverado crew cab has rattle around steering

If you feel this rattle while driving at low speed or turning at low speed it is likely a worn out steering shaft coupler, it is very common.

I have a 2008 special edition cobalt with 51,000 miles on i. i have a rattling noise in my front end i had the same problem around 12,000mile took it to dealer and they said u cant hear it under normal...

this is nothing, do a searh on chrysler rack and pinion problems and you'd be blown away at what you find. Also chrysler engine sludge issues. This is why we still stick with a BMW. A a mechanic we have seen several customers get rid of the cobalt ASAP. Just like you they felt like they bought a lemon. I'd hate to think that both dealers didnt catch something like maybe loose bolts or rattling panels or something.

Button that says "trac" over the steering colum

for traction control. most vechicles are automatic, puch it it may turn it on or off, if it turns off it should have a light that says traction off. Less drive wheels can make minor improvements to gas mileage as well as not wear other parts as much.
