Question about 2002 Honda CR-V

My '02 honda crv has been hesitating lately and now the hot needle is moving to the red zone, and back again ... Do you think it could be the fan or????

Yes, recommend you check to see if the fan is coming on. If not, check the relay for it. There are more troubleshooting steps we can try. Let us know what you find.

You have to thank the Gauge that shuts down your engine when hot bec. it wont have to clean your radiator and see if the coolant inside it run through the radiator holes to the engine water jacket to make sure your engine will not over heat...For the fans, find the fan's under the hood in the fuse box...

water pump impeller i think here is the problem ,theyr use a plastic impeller on a metal shaft and after a while they spin on the shaft so the force needed to turn the impeller is passed on to the impeller it just stays still causing the exact symptoms you describe

I have a 2006 elantra and whenever i slow down or stop the needle goes into the red zone and the a/c blows hot air. when i drive faster again the needle goes back to normal and the a/c blows cold air...

your electric fan for the AC is not working for whatever reason so when idles its all getting hot the engine and the AC system .This sort of work can be difficult to diagnose correctly and a code reader is about as good as a bible at mosque so seek the advice of a skilled mechanic who should be able to pin point the fault in seconds

My temperature gauge on my 97 honda is on the line in the middle that separates blue from red with red meaning hot. If its directly on the line in the middle, does it mean its about to run hot? Should it...

well what temp has the car ran in in the past has it always ran at that temp if its not in the red then i wouldn't worry

if it has not always ran that hot then id get it checked out it could be a bad thermostat or radiator fan not kicking on early enough or fan temperature sensor getting lazy and not kicking fan on correctly

if u want it to run a little cooler then just put a cooler thermostat in it

The reset code for the factory installed radio is on a sticker in the glove box. The sticker has 2 set of numbers. The number set with 5 digits is the reset code for your factory installed radio.

What fuse # controls the in cabin fans on a 2004 Honda CRV?

The fuse box is located under the steering wheel to the right. A diagram on the back of the removable door should show you which fuse to check. You will likely need a pair of needle nose pliers to reach/pull the the fuses, they're recessed beyond the opening.
