SOURCE: FUEL GAUGE JUMPS ALL OVER WHEN IN PARK OR NEUTRAL

Unlikely to be The Gauge Itself, This Is Classical Sending Unit Problem, Fuel Sending Unit Is Located IN FUEL TANK and Is A Bit PRICEY but Necessary

SOURCE: 2002 Buick Regal wiper motor parks wrong on dlay

remove cowling under hood to expose wiper motor linkage. You have to try it many times but the linkage may not be attached in the correct arc position. Trial by error.

SOURCE: my gas gage is either on full or once in a while 2002 buick regal

there is a float in your gas tank kinda like the float in your toilet. Sometimes they stick and if the bell goes off then back.. it prob. from the gas splashing in the tank. I wouldnt' be concerned too much.

SOURCE: gas gauge is stuck at the full position -

This may mean there is corrosion on the wires of the in tank sensor, or the float arm is sticking. If you pull the sensor out of the tank and move it through its stroke a few times it may get better, I t may need a new sensor, if you ground the wire at the tank the gauge should move to check it.
I have known some car gauges to come good just by using a fuel addidive, which cleans up the corrosion in the tank sensor.

Reverse lights stay on in all gears

Back-Up Light remains always ON you should check the Park/Neutral Position Switch (A/T) .The park/neutral position switch detects the shift lever position and sends signals to the ECM.
The ECM receives signals (NSW, R, 2 and L) from the park/neutral position switch.

My fuel gauge floats from full to empty when I stop at a light! And its stays on empty until I drive for about five minute why is that? I can't get an accurate fuel reading!!

I have the same vehicle and my car actually was full of gas, registered empty & left me on the side of the road..It was the sensor in the fuel line that had to be replaced.

Gas gauge is moving up to full when i give it gas

Sometimes those gages go bad, or it could be the float on your sending unit is bad, that is in the gas tank, I have an older model truck that can be on empty and I can put like 10 dollars in it and it will show like it has a full tank, and we know with gas prices these days that isn't much gas lol, but more than likely it's sounds like to me that your gauge is faulty.

Gas gauge sticks to full what could be causing this it is a 2000 buick regal

Look for a problem with the fuel level sensor wire or a bad fuel level sensor. It could also be a failure right in the fuel gauge. Your model probably uses a direct metering (analog) gauge*. These have wire-wound resistors inside that sometimes burn out or break. If the low fuel warning light comes on when it's supposed to, then the problem is the gauge itself.

*Some of the newer GM models starting in 2001 have replaced analog gauges with digital circuits using stepper motors to drive the gauge needles, and they've had reliability issues with the stepper motors.

1999 buick when fuel gauge drops below 3/4 it is is not accurate

i dont know the specifics of a Regal, but usually, when a needle fluctuates too much, is because the float gauge in the gas tank is worn out, or its mount became loose. You cant see that effect on a full tank because the instrument needle and the float are pegged against the stop.
