Check all fuses first. does ac compressor come on? if not, unplug pressure switch in low pressure line near where you add freon and short across pigtail. comes on now and cools? replace switch. if not plug back in. apply manual voltage to ac compressor. comes on and cools? if not compressor or clutch is bad. if it does, check ac relay. that's about all you can do with limited tools in the driveway. if no progress has been made, time to take it to the pros.

Try fan clutch relay. Because if the freon never gets cool it won't cool the passenger compartment

2009 chevy AVEO 5 ac blows hot air

The guage needs to read between 35/40 psi.. If its much higher you may be overfull, this causes it to not cool.. Fix by letting some freon out, then top it back to needed pressure.. If pressure is correct, it would be a clog in the system.. Usually an orafice tube or accumulator..good luck!

Heater not blowing hot air

When the fan motor is loud it means its out of balance. Kind of like a dishwasher.

Could a business card or two have slipped through the defrost vents ? or maybe leaves have accumulated in the fans squirrel cage.

A heater motor isn't hard to remove. Usually above your feet on the passenger side held in with 3 or 4 screws and one heavy wire.

2000 NISSAN 4X4 P/U A/C SYSTEM WILL BLOW COLD WHEN OUTSIDE AIR TEMP IS COOL, WHEN HOT OUTSIDE AIR BLOWS HOT.

your auxillary fan is not working. this fan is responsible for cooling the freon that is being circulated in your cooling system... check if there are any loose wires in front of the engine bay.

the auxillary fan is located right beside your radiator fan.

My air conditioner blows cool air on 75 degree days but on 90 degree days it blows warm air, I have had freon added and the fan replaced but the problem still exist. What else could the problem be?

the air mix door may be stuck or broke does it blow cold air on hot days after the freon is replaced and for how long it may be leaking back out ?? it may be an door acutator as well or linkage

1999 Chevy Cavalier A/C blows hot air

More likely the recharge blew a o-ring and you have a leak. When your Cavalier was blowing hot air and a recharge fixed it that means it was low on freon which lets o-rings dry out, go back to the shop and have them leak test it. They use a pressurized dye to find the problem. If it's blowing it's not the cooling fan relay, they may have meant compressor relay but I'd have a leak test done first it's not expensive and easier that chasing unknown possibilities.

Trailblazer A/C clutch blows hot !

If it is cycling then its low on freon .. Try to put in one can and this will take care of your problem.. The cycling is due to being low .. The clutch is operated by a pressure switch .. when the clutch kicks in it pressures up but not enough freon will kick it back off and starts over again ... Thanks Jerry
