no standard color codes. all you need is park light, signal left and right, brake light. easiest way is to connect the wires in the tail lights. hope this helps

SOURCE: 1997 kis sephia wire harness
the best way to go about this is to buy the wiring harness adaptor for your car. it plugs into your factory wiring plug, and the wires from the harness adaptor are color-coded to match the colored wires on your stereo. just match them, splice them, and your done.
If you already cut the harness, then I reccommend reattatching the wires that you cut, and just getting the wiring harness adaptor. trust me, for only like ten or fifteen bucks, it will save you alot of hassle. if thats not an option, then the best thing to do would be to get a digital volt/ohm meter. use that to find your constant, switched, and ground. you can also check for continuity to find speaker wires. you can pick one up at an auto parts store for fairly cheap. if you need more info on how to use the meter, and what to check for, then contact me through this site, or repost. ill be glad to clarify anything for you. good luck...

Pull the driverside tail light out and you can get to it from there or just in front of the spare tire. colors are green yellow black white.

It is only a four bolt sistem to change after the brake *** is removed. U may also have to remove the upper and lower control arms.

take out all the screws in the door handles etc, slide the chrome suround forwards on the interior doorpull and remove.then, very carefully prise off the inner door panel(use a Y tool for the clips,or a wide screwdiver..you will break some) with the window up,you will be able to see a wire hanging down from the outside handle,it is the clip that holds this on that is broken(very common)if the clip is okay then you will have to see what else is needed.but it will be obvious.
