Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT
There is a reset button in the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash. turn the key to the on position but don't start it. Then push the reset button once, then push and hold it until your car speakers chime.

Take the neg wire off of the battery for 30 mins, or if the problem has been solved it will turn off after 40 trips with no faults

You unplug the pcm fuse and the pcm battery fuse and disconnect the neg battery cable for 30 min.
