Take the front motor mounts loose and lift on the transmission pan with a jack and a block of wood, this will cause the engine to rotate forward and allow for more clearance

I have a 1999 Chevy Venture van. How do I get to the back/bottom 3 spark plugs to change them? I have alread changed the front/top 3 plugs?

Pull out the 2 long bolts that hold your motor mounts together, and then carefully jack the rear of your motor up from the bottom by the oil pan. You should now have enough room to wiggle your ratchet back there.

2004 Chevy Venture will not shift into gear

Had neighbor look at this same problem. Turned out the shifter cable linkage near the top of transmission had popped off. They popped it back on and works but a bushing in the clip probably needs replaced. The neighbor rewched over engined top between firewall and engine and popped it back on.
Works fine but does needs a clip/bushing part and auto parts store has to get from Chevy

How do I remove and change the back sparkplugs in a 2003 chevy venture, It tells me that cilinder 1 is misfiring and it won't pass the emission inspection

You can remove the engine struts(dog bones) mounted over the top of the radiator. Use a ratchet strap, attach one end to the engine hook on the driver's side dog bone mount and the other to the radiator support. Pull the engine forward, you can then access the rear spark plugs. You have to make sure your spark plug wires and ignition coils are not corroded also.

the spark plugs shouldnt make a difference the wires are what make a difference and if they are all different lengths then the shortest wire will be for the closest spark plug.
