Take off the bolts that secure the oil pan on the transmission and take off the pan. Get a new gasket before you do this. Locate the solenoid you want to change and you'll see a screw that holds it in place. Remove the screw and pullout the solenoid. Reverse the steps to install the new one.

How do I add transmission fluid to a 1996 concorde with a 3.5 liter eng?

Buy a funnel with a long flexible hose, and place the end of it in the transmission fluid dipstick hole. Add no more than a a few ounces of fluid at a time before rechecking the levels - preferably while the transmission is hot and the motor running.

2002 chrysler concorde 3.5 transmission slips when cold

Plz have fluid and filter changed in transmission. Sounds like filter is clogged and starving transmission of fluid until it warms up and thins out the fluid..Hope this helps.

How do you add transmission fluid to the torque converter on a 98 chrysler concorde?

The nine quarts is the total capacity of the transmission. The only time you would use all nine quarts is if you where flushing the transmission. You will need to drop the pan and start over as your transmission is now severly overfilled. I left the details of how to do this in your previous question. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

How many quarts of transmission fluid is required for a 1998 chrysler concorde and does every quart go in the transmission?

If your dropping the pan and replacing the filter than it would be a good idea to have six quarts of ATF+4 handy. You will add four quarts after you reinstall the transmission pan. With the vehicle on a level surface; Start the vehicle, put your foot on the brake, and put the transmission in each gear for a couple of seconds. Return the transmission to park. Check the fluid level. It should be about in the middle of the crosshatch area on the dipstick. If it is low add a half a quart at a time until it is at the proper level. Put the transmission in each gear again and then recheck the level. Topping of as necessary. You should be good to go after that! Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

Where do I pour transmission fluid in at on a 1996 chrysler cirrus?

Add the fluid through the same hole you check the fluid with. Pull the dipstick out and insert a small funnel in the dipstick hole. this will work fine.

Replace the engine motor mounts and the transmission mount. Would like to know how to do it. Thanks.

Check the frame mounts too. You will have to loosen the bolts and jack the motor up with a jack and a woodblock.
