A mild flush with a solvent from the parts store. if you're having problems with it be careful. too strong a flush solvent or a leak blocker will cause more harm than good

You will need a flush gun that uses air and water if it is stopped up. Go to a local radiator shop they will have one

How do you take out the heater core out of dodge ram pickup 3500 dually

Buy a manual and remove the entire dash. Some one has to write a book for you. I can do them. But my first few, required a manual. You can afford one by doing this yourself. A job like this is $800+ at a shop.

unless you know someone that had the same year of truck you will have to go to ford and have them order you one. not many people keep them if they no longer have the vehicle.

Need help.. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1/2 ton truck.. heater will not get hot.. changed the thermostat..had the radiator flushed.. checked heater coil (sp).. checked the air conditioner flapper door to see...

1 check,Feel the heater hoses,do they get hot ,both or one? They should be hot,if not flush the heater core directly with a hose, back and forth at each hose connection.
2nd check, clamp off the top rad hose and force the hot water through the heater and check heat output. If there is heat with top rad hose clamped change the thermostat,it's either leaking or defective, new or not.

There is no heat in the rear, im thinking its a problem with the back heating core. I have a Dodge Caravan 2001. Whats wrong and how can i fix it?

There should be a vacuum control switch in the heater line going to the heater core that may not be working.
it shuts the water off to the heater core and when heater is turned on the vacuum switch opens the door inside of switch to allow the water to go to the heater core.

Heater core

Most large auto parts stores have the book for your truck with a section on the heater core. Call the store first then if they have the book go and read the heater core replacement section to be surre its in the book.
I hope this helps you.

Serious understeer with 96 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually

Are the tie rod ends tight? Is the trac bar (frame end) tight? The steering boxes on these trucks require more input that a 1/2 ton truck or a car. How is the alignment? The caster on these should be set to about 5 degrees, the original specs allow a lot of wandering.
