SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: 2001 volvo s60 t5 - performance reduced warning message, limp mode activated

I had exactly the same problem on my UK 2001 S60.
It was caused by the throttle control housing gaskets not being serviced properly and consequently the entire housing had to be replaced - not a cheap job -and a valuable lesson learned - use a reputable volvo specialist to service your volvo - I didn't and I learnt the hard why! only a volvo specilaist would have known about this I went to several other main street garages & none of them could even diagnose the problem let alone fix it. Although they did do numerous other things first before they gave up - ie replaced titanium spark plugs.
Before it stoppped running altogther and went into "limp home mode" there were tell-tale engine/throttle surges when the car was idle, but in gear.
It is now running "like new" & I will never get another garage to service it, as this could have been avoided - however they can also wear out after about 10years - so my bad services just made it happen sooner!
I hope this helps!

Sopunds like the computer has gone into a limp mode. You need to take it in for a professional diagnosis.

SOURCE: check engine light code came up p2101 throttle

There is either a high or low circuit problem with the motor. The ecm, or called the computor, moniters the cuircuit for the motor.
The best thing to do is have the control motor checked and the ecm. One of them is bad.

Why does the engine shut off on 2006 hhr when message engine power reduced displays

Could be something causing the engine to die which is making the warning light come on, or something that the computer sees as a threat of damage to the engine and the computer is shutting down the engine to prevent damage.
You would have the computer scanned for trouble codes and then proceed with troubleshooting the issue.

After replaceing park brake and rear pads on my 2006 landrover lr3 about 10 days later the "check brake pads" message apeard on my DIC. Is there away to erease the code. The yellow warning lamp...

As you know you can now buy a cheap scanner at advance auto that will erase codes...
I would double check my work..It could be a misadjusted ABS sensor or contaminated.
I am also a tech...former GM but now I am level 2 Chrysler.
I also have a landrover freelander and I hate it...Most of these have the worst wiring system in the world. It could just be a wiring issue that landrover themselves have done wrong when they built it.
But I myself would disconnect the negative cable for 30 seconds and this will definitley erase the codes.....Normally the warning light will cut itself off after going at least 6 miles per hour after you perform the repairs but it seems it didnt come on until after you already done the repairs....So I guess it was late telling you...This is what I meant by their wiring being poorly done..
So I would check my work just to be sure then disconnect battery.....If it comes back on the only thing you can do is change the sensor...Volvo is bad for the same problem.
.............hope this helps...........................Metalpoet............PS.Make sure fluid level is correct.

What does service stabletrak mean?

{: ) If you ever see the SERVICE STABILITRAK message, it means there may be a problem with your StabiliTrakĀ® system. If you see this message, try to reset the system by performing the following: stop; turn off the engine; then start the engine again. If the SERVICE STABILITRAK message still comes on, it means there is a problem. You should see your GM dealer for service. The vehicle is safe to drive, however, you do not have the benefit of StabiliTrakĀ®, so reduce your speed and drive accordingly. Press the select button to acknowledge this message and clear it from the DIC display

I was driving home tonight and all of sudden I felt something slip in engine and the message engine reduced power came across. The symbol t/c came on also. My check engine light has been on for almost two...

Check the drive belt, and the alternator, most likely if the belt is still on,and it is running on the pulleys ok,then the alternator maybe out, have it checked, with out the alternator working the engine will not perform.
