Same thing happened with my 2004 endeavor. There are 2 fixes (as I understand) for this...the first is to get the drain hose blown out. It can get clogged with gunk, then the resevoir fills up with condensation water and overflow.
The other fix is much more involved and expensive. As I understand it from some research I have done, the drainage hole in the resevoir gets clogged with debris that has made its way down from the grill on the hood just in front of the windshield. There is no filter there (Mitsubishi now has one available), so leaf crud, dust and dirt can get drawn into the resevoir and clog it up.
The permanent fix is to pull the AC to get to the resevoir, pull and clean the resevoir, reinstall everything, then put the filter under the grate.
BTW, when my mechanic blew out my hose and was draining the car, he said there is a hollow space underneath the floorboard and it was holding about 5 gallons of water.
So far, running the AC in southern humidity, it has not backed up in about 4 months. I may have to have it blown out again next spring to avoid the water problem again (this was the second time I had to have the condenser drain line blown out).
Hope this helped.

Mitsubishi Endeavor 2004. 1. the tail gate and the tail gate glass do not open 2. the AC drains into the driver flooring instead of draining outside to the ground. Why? And where is the output drain...

The door and the glass just needs some penetrating lubricant( WD 40 ), just a few squirt will do on hinges and locks!
The drainage hose would be under the passenger side( RiGHT FRONT SiDE) glove box, look down there, u will see a black hose from the center that houses ur A/C & heater housing! Lift up ur floor covering to see it clearly. check and clean the hose it might already been clogged by moss and dirt or dislocated thru the drain holes on the flooring! Hope that helps out! Taah!

2 problems.1- the tail gate and the tailgate glass of my my mitsubishi endeavor 2004 does not open. 2- the AC evaporator drains water into the driver flooring, where is the out put drain opening /pipe...

it is a fuse for the glass. The a/c drain is underneath the car, it is not a hose. The drain is located under the hood on the drivers' side. You will have to get under the vehicle, it is to the left of the steering wheel linkage. A bolt is coming through for the accelerator and there is a hole to the left of the bolt and on the bottom of the hole is where it drains from it is like 3/4" down and 3/4" towards the driver side. A stiff wire or pipe cleaner will fit into the nipple, it is not easy to get to but it can be got to. If it is not clogged then it is the actual rubber seal and you will have to find a piece of hose to fit around the nipple and allow all the water to drain through the hose. Hope this helped tim

2004 Endeavor AC condensation gathering in huge puddles on drivers side...can't find obvious point of entry...have pulled back carpet but still no clue

Water puddling on the driver side (ONLY) of Endeavors is evidence of the drain tube foam seal failing. This is very common on Endeavors, and will be more evident on humid days, rainy days, especially with extended driving.
The drain tube for the AC system that extends through the firewall has a small foam ring that seals moisture from running back into the car after it goes out the tube (think of pouring water out of a glass, how some always runs down the side).
High humidity days will cause more condensate than normal and amplify your symptom. Rain will also make it worse, as road water will spit up to the drain hole, as well as normally enter the box through your fresh air vent, creating more water to drain. Driving speed also help force the water past the seal.
The only correct repair is to remove the evaporator box (requires dash removal) and either replace the seal with a new one, or as I prefer replace it with a butyl rubber type substitute that will not degrade like the foam.
You can pack butyl rubber or similar (think windshield packing) around the seal flange on the inside, but it is not an ideal repair.

2004 Endeavor A/C water leaking on passenger side floor

You may have to jack up the front passenger side frame enough to get underneath. Please use a jackstand. If you slide under the vehicle and look at the bottom section of the firewall you'll see an approximately 2 inch long by 3/4 inch diameter black rubber hose that is pinched at the end, that is your drain pinch it open and flick it with your finger a few times. If it is badly plugged get a pencil and push it around a bit. Thanks, Dana

A/C on, Water on the driver side floor board

There should be a drain hose coming out of the firewall. Make sure this is not clogged or pinched. This is condensation and should drain out.

2004 endeavor problem

Souns like a leak is allowing water into the cabin area, there may have been a leak in the firewall but it looks like it's coming in from somewhere else. Take a look at the rubber door seal in the drivers side door jam and check it for damage or possibile leak area's, if you find a leak here it can be sealed with silicone or you can replace the entire dorr seal. The only other possibility for the leak would be the seal around the windshield, also check this and seal with silicone if a leak is deteteced.

Hope this helps
