Check your motor mounts and tranny mount. Your description sounds like physical movement may be causing the issue.

Transmisson keeps popping out of second gear

in the transmission itself there are clutches between the gears. (small rings) these are worn and needs to be replaced.

instead of buying a new transmission, It would be cheaper (i think) to purchase a transmission kit for your make and model transmission and replaces the parts. Its basically rebuilding the transmission so it will return to prime condition.. It does require a professional though , you should consult with your mechanic the cost of a new one and rebuilding this one.

My transmission sometimes slips into nuetral when I drive.

This is normal. When driving my Jeep or most other vehicles, it is normal to be able to slip it into Neutral from Drive while driving.

HOW DO YOU PUT 1990 JEEP WRANGLER IN 4WD? IT IS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITHOUT LOCKING HUBS. IT MOVES WHETHER IN NUETRAL OR 2WH. IS THAT NORMAL? I CAN'T TELL IF IT IS IN 4WD.

i had that problem to. count the number of "clicks" when putting it into different gears. make sure that the shifter does not go side to side while driving...that can cause damage. its an older truck things let go. i have to re-do the seals on my transfer case cause i was driving my jeep inbetween 2H and N and she got hot and poped them.

Left hand turn transmission disengages itself shifts into nuetral

Sounds very much like low fluid. It is possible that trans sustained some internal problem from impact, but I'd check fluid first... If further attention is necessary don't forget to inform your ins co right away!!
