How do I pop out the headlight on a 1998 Buick Regal. My hand doesn't fit

Usually the entire assembly needs to come out, typically 3 or 4 retaining screws, and these are NOT adjustment screws.

If you go to the part store, look at the headlight and ask if they have an electrical pigtail to fit it. You should be able to install it fairly easily with electrical **** connectors

take out the headlights look at the back there are round pieces of rubber take whichever one u need to change off then just twist the back of the bulb counterclockwise and it should pop right out

My 98 buick regal headlights quit working. They worked sporadically for awhile, but now not at all. checked fuses already. The high beams are fine.


More than likely your headlight switch needs to be replaced. The switch (lever to flip between Hi/Lo beams) are made of plastic and after many miles they wear out.

pull out on the headlight switch to manually turn the lights on and push it back in to shut off to override the automatic feature. I do this on my own at times

For 1998 Buick Regal 3.8L SFI OHV 6cyl, the Flasher is located below left hand side of steering column.
