Question about 2006 Volkswagen Passat
Looks like your alternator doesn't charge the battery. Check is very easy.
Jump start it, have someone holding the RPM around 2500 - 3000 then get a multimeter and check the voltage on + and - on the battery. If it shows lower than 13.5 V you need a new alternator, or repair the one that you have. If you do get 13.5 V, but no more than 15V, then could be the battery.
