2010 Jeep Wrangler unlimited sport extreme shudder at 40 mph- if I press the gas-pedal and get the RPMs to rev, the shudder ceases, only to return once I am back down around 38 mph-41mph.

which engine the 3.6? v6?
that shudder is called MISFIRE.
get a tune up yet, even $1.49 spark plugs?
no its not the trans,
if it dont slip, its not trans, (see RPM races? that is slip or too low gear)
if it shifting to the right gears, its not the trans can you count them?
is the CEL lamp glowing or flashing driving, is yes, that means
scan me now. in fact scanning while it shudders, is like (magic)
why start guessing, do a tuneup,
then scan it.
if its is misfire the PCM will tell you what cylinder misfires.

are your spark plugs 6 years old, if yes, why?
going for 200k miles on them.?

Wont start after replacing spark plugs in 2006 jeep wrangler

Hi my name if Tom and I am here to help.

The most likely problem after changing plugs is that you got the wires to the wrong plugs. I am guessing.
Did you change one plug at a time or pull all the plugs and changed them as a group?

If you did not mix up the plug wires, I would need more info to help you further. I trust this info was of help. Do not hesitate to get in touch with me at your convenience.

How to change the sparks plugs on my 2005 unlimited

You need a "spark plug socket" for the ratchet.. This socket has insulation inside to protect the plug from breaking..

Do one at a time so you do nt mess up the firring order..

Pop the wire off at the plug.. Replace plug - put wire back on.. Repeat until all is done..

Have a great day !
