Question about 1993 Toyota Pickup
It would NOT be toyota that superimposed another chassis no to the vehicle....think stolen old car,with identity of newer car......a police matter BUT if you report it you may loose it for ever.....
the saying is "caveat emptor...."where did you buy it,was it a reputable dealer,was it cheap???????let me know what you do

You may need to remove the alternator, its
just behind it. Engraved to the engine body. However generally this is stamped
onto a plate and fixed to the engine block itself. You can also check the hood
and around the fenders to find an engine name or number.
