What dash lights come on? if its the brake or ABS lights that means your brake pads need to be changed, in some brake pads there is a sensor that also has to be replaced if you have gone too far into the rotor.

are we talking about the rear tail brake lights or the light on the dash. if dash light possible emergency brake slightly applied or low brake pressure in brake system or low brake fluid in reservoir. Rear brake lights ? check the brake switch under dash as it may have come mis adjusted for proper on/off activation

Every once in a while the lights and gauges flicker on and off for no reason


a doctor friend of mine had the same problem with hers in daytona, it turned out to be a loose ground in the dash, this could take quite a while to track down so be patient, and check every connection,HAVE FUN

When I turn on my lights I have no taillights. And when I apply the brake I have no brake or taillights. But I do have brake lights when I apply the brake with the lights off.

check for chauffed wiring under dash around steering column and brake pedal, as for your rear brake/side light you have probably put the bulb in the wrong position remove bulb and rotate and retry

Brake lights do not work when you apply braks on a 1993 jeep grand cherokee.


Check the bulbs, switch on top of pedal arm under dash and fuses.Make sure bulb sockets have proper grounding.

probably a bad sensor in one wheel. If your car go to one side when you apply brakes, the sensor of the opposite front wheel is defective or loosing. if not, rear wheel ones
