2005ford/taurus/3.0l/ohv/flex-fuel/cal/emiss/car start,s like the battery or starter is defected when both are not and the dash gaugses wiggele stuck for a few sec. then the car start

Hello, I would be looking at the starter solenoid. Follow the heavy duty copper cable from the starter back to the battery. Now, if there is metal can that is bolted to fender panel or there abouts.
This can has two heavy duty wire going ot it and each is attached to each side of the can. Also there isi one or maybe two wire attached to the can but are much smaller, then you found the starter solenoid.

But if the cable from the starter goes directly to the + of the battery then the starter solenoid is located on top of the starter. To remove the solenoid you'll need to remove the starter. FIRST discontect the (-) negative side of battery, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! The solenoid has a couple bolts that hold to the starter. I wish you lots of luck . GB...stewbison

Starter problem? When i turn the key a weird clicking noise occures and the engine doesnt turn over

Fords have a starter relay. It's between the battery and the starter. It's usually mounted on the side by the battery. It will have about 4 wires on it, and has two bolts holding to the wall. You can get it from any auto parts store, and will take about 20 minutes to replace. It's something I've only seen on Ford vehicles. That should fix your problem.

Need to replace the starter is it hard to replace????

Its not that hard. First of all disconnect the Negative battery,And All you need to do is locate the starter and locate the bolts that hold it usually 14 Mm bolts. take the wires off and label them where they go to make it easy for you to put them back again, put in a new starter in and sometimes you need to shake it little bit to make it slide in, and put back the wires and tighten them then start your car and good luck.

Brake repair

Nothing special. Not sure if you have allen or hex head caliper bolts or just a regular 6 point bolt. But, metric is the size so have a metric assortment. The other thing needed is a bigger sized C-clamp. It will be used to to compress the piston. A small piece of wood scrap, like a 1"x4". This is used to protect the face of the piston area. That's it!

Very simple job and you will save yourself a few hundred bucks this way.

Good luck and don't forget to rate!
