Starting problems. It just clicks, and nothing happens. Sometime I've to attempt 10 times before it starts.

This could either be a weak battery or a starter solenoid problem. have the battery checked at your local auto parts store.
if the battery is good, then it will be the solenoid that will need to be replaced.

If you Tap on the starter and it works you probably just have worn out starter brushes. I would recommend picking up and installing a new or rebuilt starter.

Sounds like you may have a fuel injector bleeding off when you shut it off, causing a flooding problem. If you can test the fuel pressure to see if it loses pressure after the engine is turned off that would help diagnose the problem. Depending on what vehicle it is, it could also be a bad fuel pressure regulator.

Try cleaning your battery cables - especially the bottom ends. The bottom side of cables are ignored or overlooked because they're a pain to get to. But they're exposed to grease, road grime, etc... When cold cables contract and if there's grease & dirt in there it creates resistance. You attempt to start a couple times, cables get hot and expand make contact, Clean cables with a good wire brush

Check the wire harness to the starter solenoid, the wires could have a break in it or the solenoid could also be bad. The heat of the engine could be causing the solenoid to fail till it cools down. Try that first, good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.
