I was driving and my 2002 Mitsubishi Galant just turned off in the middle of the street. When i turn the key nothing happens. There is no power going to the car. It won't even try to turn over. My battery has a full charge and when it is connected i can hear a fuse popping.

will the engine crank when you turn the key, and will not start or does nothing happen when key is turned on. If nothing happens when you turn the key, you may have an dead battery. if it will crank and not start, may not be getting fuel or the engine isnt fireing. Check fuel first, then check to see if it the spark plugs are getting fire.

hi, the problem you are describing sounds like the starter motor has packed up or a wire might have even come off the back of the starter if your sure the battry is fully charged then the chances are the problem is with the starter motor, that is where i would start looking anyway
