Here is your firing order in relation to the distributor cap.

The cap seems to share the design with a Ford Probe.

2004 grand am se v6 sometimes wont start unless gas pedal is pushed

when you say -turn over do you mean firing-turning over to me means the starter motor is cranking or turning over-firing is when combustion happens in the cylinders-as far as the cranking continuing-try some wd40 in the ignition switch-it may be hanging up-Denny

Flooding 94 V6 nissan will not start now, was starting and running ruff?

i would start by replacing the temp sensor and cleaning the plugs the flooding is from the temp sensor when they go out usually fuel just keeps dumping in the cylinders and it most likely wont start because of the plugs being soaked when plugs get soaked they get a black glaze on them and they wont fire untill cleaned

My car is not starting anymore the plugs keep getting soak with gasoline does anybody know why?

The fuel soaked plugs are what's called "flooding". You need to troubleshoot the ignition system, my guess is that you're not getting spark to fire the cylinders. Was this a gradual thing or did it just fail one day?

Wirring set up for spark plug wires for a 1997 ford probe

2.0 firing order - 1-3-4-2
V6 firing order 1-2-3-4-5-6 - pic of engine and cylinder numbers. http://www.aa1car.com/library/ford_firing_orders.htm
Where to put the leads on the distributor
from standing at the front of the car looking down onto the disributor cap the connector closest to you on the top is no4,the one in the middle is no5. and the one at the back is no3
The connector closest to you on the bottom of the distributor cap is no2, in the middle no1, at the back furthest from you and separated from the other two a little further back is number 6.
------------------- 2.0 probe I have no pic of the engine myself but I found this for the 2.0 4cyl http://www.btinternet.com/~madmole/images/Idle.h10.jpg you can see the wires and where they go (zoom the image by pressing CTRL and PLUS keys together in your browser)

Just bought 1991 Ford Probe lx v6 won't start

If you have spark and fuel (either via the injectors or spraying fluid into the intake), and still no evidence of firing, it suggests your valvetrain may not be working. If the valves can't open, the fuel cant get into the cylinder.

Do (or have done) a compression test. You may have a broken timing belt/chain.

No fire to start car

Pull a plug out and touch it to a bolt on the engine while turning over the engine. This will tell you if you have fire. By the way, if you don't put it on a strong ground it will ground through you, if it does that you're getting fire. If not, cap, rotor, and coil are the way to go. If you do have fire, then check the fuel pressure and timing. Don't forget to vote.
