Should be under the hood,on a lable! You may nave to bypass the computer, and i,m not sure how so the specs alone are ok to know, but the bypass to check or set the ignition timing is a must! It may tell under the hood on a lable some where check really good!

I fouled up the timing on my 1990 Subaru Legacy Wagon. Tried resetting it to the factory specs but it still wont start.

You have not set it to the factory spec, and its probably 180 degrees off. Rotate the crank to top dead center (the mark on the crank toothed pulley, align the cam timing marks, refit the belt THEN release the tensioner. Rotate the engine manually to verify that all the timing marks realign themselves.

Need timing specs and point gaps please

Well I can't really help with the timing specs but the points gap should be .019 (in.), but I always learned to use a match box to gap them  and that works great too. Hope this helps.
