Question about 2005 GMC Yukon
MANY THINGS WILL CAUSE VECHICLE SHUT DOWN LIKE FAULTY IDLE SPEED CONTROL FAULTY PCM OR CRANKSHAFT SENSOR.BEST WAY TO FIND PROBLEM HAVE MECHANIC HOOK SCANNER TO VECHICLE WITH A HELPER.DRIVE VECHICLE TAKE A SNAP SHOT WITH SCANNER TIME VECHICLE SHUT OFF.I SEEN CASES THE BATTERY OR ALTERNATOR SHORT OUT TURN OFF VECHICLE.

Sounds like a faulty electrical ignition switch. When hot the contact can move away from anouther contact and short the circuit out to the power train circuitry. Upon cooling the contacts will align back uo to start again
