You can try clearing the drain with pipe cleaner or a piece of wire, you can also fit a hose around the nipple and see if this helps if the seal is bad on the firewall. hope this helps tim

Air conditioner leaking in passanger floor boards how do i fix it

Could be the drain tube is partially clogged. It is usually located on the fire-wall or down towards the floor pan under the car. It is usually close to where the A/C lines go thru the fire-wall. About 1/2 inch diameter sticking straight out but may have a 90 degree elbow pointing down.
Also, its been extra hot and humid all over and moisture could be freezing inside the unit when on MAX A/C, then suddenly melting when switched to normal. This opens the outside air door and allows warm/hot air into the unit instead of recirculating the cold air inside the car. The drain may not be able to handle a large, sudden quantity of water.
Perform a "driveway" test. Open the hood, start engine and run the A/C on normal with the windows or doors open. Locate the drain tube by looking for water dripping. Once located twist 2 or 3 pipe cleaners together and verify the tube is clean. Then close the doors/windows and switch to MAX A/C. Check for water dripping. If it stops dripping, water is freezing inside and now you know why!

The driver's side of the floor gets soaking wet when I run the air conditioner. What should I do?

When the air conditioner is running, it forms condensation in the heater box, which is located under the dash board and quite difficult to access. fortunately, you don't have to get in there. The heater box has a drain tube that drains the water out of the front of the fire wall.In the engine compartment, look on the passenger side ,down low on the firewall, for the drain tube. Sometimes it's hard to see, but look closely, its probably covered with the same sound deadening as the rest of the fire wall. You may be able to stick a wire or similar item up into the tube. If not, it will take air pressure from an air blower to blow it out. You'll know when it's free when water starts coming out.

Where is the drain for the air conditioner? I have water in the passenger compartment. 1997 Park Ave.

Look under the car at the firewall. there should be a small plastic or rubber hose sticking down on the right hand side. Gently slide a pen or into it, and dislodge the dirt. A bunch of water usually comes out quick, so be ready to get out of the way.

Hope helps (remember rated and comment this).

I need to find the water drain plug or where it drains the water out of the air conditioner on a 2000 caravan. It seems to be plugged

it is leaking into the van on the passenger side isnt it? I bet I am right. I dont know if your has an in cabin filter or not. if it does then I suggest to take it out until the problem is fixed. if the removal of the filter fixes the problem then replace it with a new one. the drain for the AC should be located on the passenger side fire wall. check and see if there is a hose that connected to the vent drain that may have fell off. it this is the case then air can be forced into the drain at the fire wall while you are driving. the AC fan should be able to blow out of the drain normally and thus helping to keep it drained. it should have a path that faced downward, that way when driving the outside air passing by the hose while driving will actually have a slight suction effect on the drain.
you get the idea. hope this helps. if there is no hose and it is still draining outside. then the wind outside while driving could cause the water drip to flow down the fire wall itself and all it takes is a poor seal around where the drain goes thru the firewall and it could leak back into the vehicle around this drain
