My 1998 windshield washer pump doesn't work, how do I check it?

You check it with a test light and see if it is getting power to the pump. If getting power then smack the side of the pump with some one pushing the button and see if it starts to work if it does you need a new pump

you should be abled to hear the pump running when you turn it on. If its making noise then check water lines to be surethey are hooked up. then remove the jets at the end and clean them with some alcohol until you can blow thru them with your mouth.

Windshield washer pump not working


replace the washer pump if it's not responding to current. Generally, they are located in the windshield washer tank. Also, check the wires to it to make sure they are not severed.

Windshield Washer Pump Works But No Fluid Flow


May be the resevoir bottle may have something stuck in it, you are right, you may have a clogged line. Also check the routing of the hoses to the squirt that they are not pinched or kinked. Any washer fuild leaking anywhere?
