Hi. The car will lock automatically after you get out because that is one feature of your keylock system. It is also one feature of the alarm system that if you use the the key and not using the alarm to unlock the doors, the car will not start. The alarm system is still engaged. All of this are safety features of your car.

Dead battery how I can open the door 2010 honda crv

Most owner's manuals list a procedure for this, but it's locked inside the car, right? Many cars work like this; use key to unlock as much as normal, then lift the door handle and the key will now turn further to manually unlock the door. if this doesn't work, call your friendly dealer and ask service dept.

Front passenger door does not stay locked while driving locks when I start, but does not stay locked. 2007 CRV

If the door locks properly, it is not the actuator. It's only function is to lock or unlock the door. Something is sending a signal for it to unlock. Just like if you try to lock it with the keys in the ignition, it automatically unlocks. Maybe read through the locking options in the owner's manual.

Honda crv door lock

Start by having your car checked for a Trouble Code. Many Auto Parts stores do it for free. It seems to be a security issue that keeps locking the door. It is a system which works separate from all the other systems in your car.

My 2003 Honda CRV ...drivers side door does not lock with fob. All other doors lock. When I lock the drivers side door with the key, it won't unlock with the fob.

you may need to replace the door locking actuator, they do tend to go bad over times. does the driver side door lock automatic when using the lock button on the driver side. if you can lock and unlock the driver side door with a switch, my guess would not be the locking actuator, it might be in the remote locking module.

They all do it, its part of the security system that all the doors lock after a minute or so from unlocking if you don't open the driver's door.
It prevents you from accidentally unlocking the car door while walking away and clicking the remote in your pocket, the car re-locks on its own.
If you open with the remote then open only the rear door, the other doors all lock and when you close the rear the alarm goes off.
What fun we have!
