Misfiring on #5 cylinder 2003 Chevrolet Blazer. Changed plugs, wires, and checked compression. Checked wire resistance. Changed cap and rotor.

YOU COULD HAVE A FAULTY COIL OR FUEL INJECTOR ALSO FUEL INJECTOR COULD BE STOPPED UP.

probably the injectors are not working
run the fault codes or have the injectors for those cylinders checked
check wiring connections for the harness

Cylinders 1 3 5 are misfiring


check to see if fuse is blown to injectors and or coils, usually there is a fuse that runs even side and one for odd side

could be the fuel injector if it is stuck open or shorted to ground. check the compression first on that cylinder. if the compression is good check the fuel pressure bleed off time. if the pressure drops more than 20psi in 15 minutes it very well could be a faulty injector.

P0300 code on a engine its says random multiple cylinder misfire ???? changed the plugs and plug wires


recheck the plugs and wires check for proper gap on plugs also check that wires not crossed and that wires are properly seated on cap and plug

On 96 chevy van cylinder 5 misfire changed plugs wires cap n rotor checked coil n egnition modulator


Check the plug wires with a spark tester, to see if they all spark good. That will verify all of the parts you replaced. If they look good, do a compression test on cylinder five.

Blazer out of time


take #1 spark plug out turn the engine untill the piston comes up to to dead center TDC on the compression stroke Take the distrib out and put it back in pointing directly at #1 plug wire on the cap
