Well not sure if you have manual or auto a/c so here is both schematics. first, the manual a/c has no realys, only modules.

can't find the air conditioning relay on a 2002 - ab926c4.gif here is the schematics for the automatic a/c system

eceeaf9.gif let me know if you need any more help. the older models that were not an a4 series had relays instead of modules. most all new vws have modules for everything

I have a 2002 VW Jetta TDI and am problems with turbo.

Hallo
1.Disconect lower hose from intercooler and oil (from 0,1 liter or more) (sometimes 1-2 liters) comes out, you should not drive it.(car had probably loose power) Change the turbine, oil and oil filter. do not forget to disconect lower hose and let oil drain out. Otherwise when new turbine is instald, the air flow will **** this oil inside the engine and distroy it.
2.your car is not designed to run without turbine and will not work like normal disel.(SDI).
hope it helps

Don't know much about VW but if it's fine, and it doesn't happen again I wouldn't worry about it. If it does try resetting the ECU by removing the battery terminals and touching the positive lead(red wire) to the negative battery post. It might spark a little, this is just the capacitors discharging, resetting your ECU and starting over. It's like restarting your personal computer
