Question about 2004 Ford E150
Hi , You should'nt have to pump accelerator.Change your fuel filter 1st, and yes your gas cap has to be on to keep fuel pressure where it should be. Sounds like your fuel pressure regulator is Faulty.
Also need to check your #5 injector Pulse with a node light to make sure its working right. You can buy the test light at parts stores. Also check and make sure your getting Spark to your plugs.
If it tested that #5 injector was bad then you'll need to get a new injector if the Pulse Test Fails.
Its possible that it could be dirty or Plugged.I would go ahead and check ALL your Injectors just to make sure they Pass the Pulse Test.
