Change the water pump when it starts leaking or, if you have over 100,000 miles on the car, and you are doing additional work like changing the timing belt. If it will give you peace of mind, go a head and change it. Otherwise, leave it in the car and let it work.

Usually close to the drier in the tube on the low pressure side. Drier looks like an aluminum cylinder about as big around as a soda can and twice as tall with two aluminum tubes coming out of it. The port has a screw off cap to access.

check the suction line of the compressor for port -check on the back of the compressor. Before recharging check for leaks as it not necessary to recharge a system that has no leaks.

'94 eagle vision Tsi started running very rough and has a bad lag when accelerating. I tried using some injector cleaner and helped a little but I am wondering if maybe it is a vaccuum hose or some type of...


Could be a number of issues
Tune up (plugs, wires, ect)
fuel filter
fuel injectors
Could be a vacuum hose, listen for hissing under the hood
water in gas tank

look to thermostat, and see if your belts arent slipping, using a radiator flush then replacing coolant could help too

Water pump on a chrysler 1996 eagle vision


If you have a V-6 engine. The timng belt is located under the timing belt cover on the fornt of trhe engine. The water pump is driven off the timing belt. If you change the water pump,you should change the timing belt at the same time.
