Question about 1998 Jeep Cherokee
The word is generator (though it refers to your alternator and charging system). It may be either over or undercharging. You can have that checked free at most larger parts stores. Also check all main fuses in the power distribution center as some of those are for the charging system as well. Also make sure the drive belt is tight enough...most times it will squeal if it's loose right after start up.
