How do I change the thermostat on my ldv 200 1.9d 94-96 (it an "N" reg )

It sounds like you have the right location, but getting to it is gonna be the issue. Typically yes the thermostat is located under the top radiator hose that runs from the radiator to the block. Start by draining some/most of the antifreeze that way you don't have a big mess then remove the hose from the block and then the thermostat housing so that you can replace it. Good luck making room to get in there. Hope this helps

LDV MAXAS PLATINIUM, 2006, 120BHP, 2.5 Does anyone

I would have though your garage would have either cleaned or replaced the aur mass sensor.
You can find this four/five pin plug somewhere between the air filter and the throttle housing or google its location.
These often dont show up well on diagnostic computers.
You can run engine with plug disconnected to see if it runs better or not. If it does then buy and fit a new sensor.
All that really controls your fueling is coolant sensor and air sensors....these often fail the most.
Good luck

Ran out of diesel and filled it again cant get it started

You have to bleed the diesel from the injectors, however diesel forced out of an injector can go through the skin and could prove to be fatal so great care should be taken.
