the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Pathfinder would not start

This seems to be a security issue. Do you have any other TRANSPONDER on the key ring ? If so remove them. Also try another key.

SOURCE: I have a 2001 Nissan

Hi,

It sounds to me like you just have a bad ignition key. This is very common! Try another ignition key and see if that does the trick. The P0325 won't even turn the light on and is not really a major problem.

Have you checked the fuses? Sometimes a blown or popped fuse will do this..

If there is no blown fuses, then chances are you could just have a bad immobilizer. You are going to want to check the powers and grounds going into the immobilizer. If the powers and grounds are good, then the NATS IMMU may be faulty.it is located in the steering column.

Let me know,once done.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Nissan x-trail wont start. error code p1610 and p1612 come up

P1610 is loss of serial bus Data.
P1612 is a NATS error. this is the Anti-Theft system

It effecttively immobilises the car and it wont start until you have the faults cleared.
This can happen after a low battery voltage.
