Question about 2002 Chevrolet Malibu
This problem can cause of two things one is clock need three wire connection 1 all time +ve 2 +ve only when ignition switch is on 3 earthing. for this problem if 1 no wire all time +ve is disconnected from clock . or it is problem with clock you have to repalce it if 1 no wire is connected properly.

yeah my problem is the same the shifter has to sometimes be imunipulated to assure its in park or the ignition will not turn all the way off leaving a weak or dead battery the following day. i would play with the shifter to be sure its in park all the way
