Question about 1981 Ford F 100
Look for a leak in the hoses between the PCV valve and the motor. If you find any squishy or oily spots on the rubber hoses especially where the 90 degree rubber angles are, this would indicate a hold in the rubber hose and the vacuum leak will cause the vehicle to run poorly at idle.
